Sacramento Wedding Photography Giveaway
2022 is the 5th year I am giving away a completely FREE wedding photography collection to a local Sacramento couple. No catch, no hidden fees, just a wedding gift to one deserving couple each year. If you or someone you know is getting married in 2022 within 1 hour of Sacramento, please enter the giveaway! The giveaway opens on February 21st and the winner will be announced on February 28th (on my birthday)! Here’s everything you need to know about entering the giveaway, the grand prize, and last year’s winner:
The Grand Prize
This year, the prize is the biggest one yet! I decided to go all out, so I’m giving away a wedding collection with all the coverage you need. The value of the grand prize is $3950!! It includes 8 hours of wedding day coverage from me (value of $2800), 4 hours of additional coverage with a second photographer (value of $500), and an engagement session (value of $650)! I love giving this gift to the community to a deserving couple. Planning a wedding can be financially stressful, so this is one way I can give back and ease that stress for a couple each year.
How to Enter to Win:
It’s easy to enter to win the free wedding collection! Just a few things to keep in mind first: To be eligible to enter the giveaway, you must be getting married in 2022, and your wedding venue must be in Sacramento (or within 1 hour of the city). You can enter to win starting on February 21st by doing the following:
- Send me an email that includes your love story (Don’t forget to include your wedding date and some photos!)
- Like my post about the giveaway on Instagram
- Tag 2 additional engaged couples in the comments
- Share your favorite image from my Instagram to your story and tag me!
What to Include in Your Love Story
Reading the love stories that come into my inbox is always a highlight of the giveaway! My husband and I set aside an evening to read all of the entries that came in. We always end up laughing and sometimes even tearing up. As we look through the entries, we are looking for beautiful, detailed stories of how you met, who proposed and how, what you love about each other, and why you are excited to spend the rest of your lives together. Be light-hearted and honest! And please include lots of photographs so we can put your faces to your story!
Last Year’s Giveaway Winner
Last year, Carley and Aaron were the giveaway winners. Their story gave my husband and me all of the “aww” moments we were looking for! They first met in middle school when Carley turned Aaron down when he asked to go to the 8th-grade dance together. Their paths crossed again years later, and Carley was completely smitten with Aaron. They went on an ice cream date, and the rest is history! In February 2021, Aaron asked the big question on a cliff overlooking Half Moon Bay, and Carley said yes. Reasons I Love Hosting a Wedding Photography Giveaway
As I mentioned, hosting my annual giveaway is a highlight of my entire year. It’s an honor to read such incredible love stories and find one couple to give back to! I am a hopeless romantic and love how unique each couple’s love story truly is. I also absolutely love looking for the right couple to ease some of their wedding stress! Planning a wedding means spending a lot of money, and I love being able to give back to the community that has given me so much. My husband and I look forward to reading all about your love story.
