Before I was documenting love stories, I was living one.
I’m a wife to my college sweetheart and a mother to four extraordinary girls. Motherhood has shaped the way I see everything , especially the fleeting, sacred nature of time. I understand how quickly seasons change. I know how it feels to want to hold onto the sound of your child’s laugh, the weight of their hand in yours, the way your partner looks at you across a room when no one else is watching.
Being a wife has taught me that love is layered it’s not just grand gestures, it’s quiet loyalty, shared glances, inside jokes, and choosing each other again and again. Being a mother has sharpened my intuition. I notice the in-between moments. I anticipate emotion before it fully surfaces. I move gently but with intention.
This lived experience allows me to document weddings with reverence and motherhood with depth. I don’t just see what’s happening I understand what it means. And that understanding is what transforms beautiful photographs into lasting legacy.
