Brandon & Clarissa’s Engagement Session

We love a botanical garden engagement session here at Bloom Photography! Brandon and Claire’s session did NOT disappoint. I took their engagement photos at WPA Rock Garden, one of the many beautiful parks here in Sacramento.

Garden Engagement Session

WPA Rock Garden is one of the many parks you can enjoy here in Sacramento. Sacramento is often called the “city of trees” and it definitely lives up to its name. It is second only to Paris for the number of trees per capita in a city. You can find the most trees in the city in Land Park, the neighborhood where WPA Rock Garden is located! WPA Rock Garden was founded in 1940. The gardens celebrate Sacramento’s legacy with tree-lined paths and a striking variety of flowers, plants, and birds. We visited WPA Rock Garden on a warm spring evening to take Brandon and Clarissa’s engagement photos. I highly recommend visiting the park during springtime to enjoy the scents and beauty of the springtime blossoms!

Brandon and Clarissa’s Love Story

I first met Brandon and Clarissa in 2017 for a family portrait session. Their love was so evident in their smiles and sweet looks as they prepared to announce their pregnancy! When Clarissa graduated from CSU Sacramento, I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple again! Brandon had big plans to propose to Clarissa in Hawaii last year, but due to COVID-19, he decided to set up a romantic proposal at home instead. This spring, they celebrated their engagement with their engagement session. Even though Brandon couldn’t propose in Hawaii, the couple plans to have their wedding in Hawaii in 2022! So excited for you two!!
