DeAndre & Jodie’s San Francisco Engagement Session

November 1, 2021

Palace of Fine Arts Engagement Session

Jodie and DeAndre chose to take their engagement photos at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The Palace of Fine Arts was originally built in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition and is considered by many to have been the most beautiful structure featured at that exhibition. It is currently on the National Register of Historic Places in San Francisco and still stands as a beautiful Greco-Roman-inspired location. It features gorgeous arches and romantic details that create a uniquely beautiful backdrop for portraits. The colonnades, grounds, lagoon, exhibition center, and theater also still stand (and amaze) today.

DeAndre & Jodie’s Love Story

DeAndre and Jodie embody young love. From high school sweethearts to a fairytale ending, this sweet couple is so in love! I met them at a Bay Area bridal show in 2020 where they won an engagement session. The crowds, the vendors, and the energy and love in the room make these shows one of my favorite ways to meet couples! There’s nothing quite like being in a room full of people each planning their own unique wedding day. I love seeing the joy and happiness and the variety of incredible vendors these shows bring together! It was so great to meet DeAndre and Jodie at one of these events.

Telling Love Stories One Photo at a Time

I love being able to tell love stories through imagery. This sweet and gentle love story was a dream to photograph. Their photos will help to tell their story for years to come and give DeAndre and Jodie heirlooms to share with their children and grandchildren.
