Farm Life in Los Altos, CA
This family session in Los Altos, California, captured the Leroy family’s incredible little farm. High in the hills, surrounded by the most breathtaking views, this family created a farm on their property. They have sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, dogs, and cats (and I’m probably missing a few other animals!) I could have stayed all evening photographing this lovely family and all of their furry friends. What a gorgeous location, and what a beautiful family! Can I please photograph more farm family sessions?
The Leroy Family
The Leroy family wins the award for the kindest and most photogenic family! I loved their fashion sense and French accents. They are indeed a special family, and I appreciated the opportunity to get to know them. If I had to describe this family in three words, they would be elegant, kind, and MODELS. I couldn’t believe how well everyone photographed, from mom and dad to the littlest of the children.
Tips for Family Photos
Family photos are one of my favorite types of sessions. Capturing the love of a family in a way that can be preserved forever is so special. If you are thinking of booking a family photo session, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Plan a session that’s personal to your family. For example, you could find a location with special meaning or have your session at your home!
- Print your family photos. You can use your professional photos to create wall prints or canvases that become a part of your home.
- Try to schedule family sessions regularly—maybe once per year. It’s important to document the growth of your family. You won’t regret having more family photos.
