Theresa and Donovan came to this session ready to have some fun! They were a little nervous, but ready to let go and be playful with one another! Engagement sessions are the perfect opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, that way getting photos on your wedding day is a breeze! These two also brought their sweet furbabies along and they were camera ready, too! They decided to do their engagement photos at two different locations around Davis California University gardens and arboretum.
T. Elliot Weier Redwood Grove of Davis California University
Our first location for this summer engagement session was the T. Elliot Weier Redwood Grove! The grove is the perfect location to have photos taken in the redwoods, without having to drive hours to see them! The Davis California University has its own perfect grove that gives you some serious Santa Cruz Mountain vibes!
Ruth Risdon Storer Garden of Davis California University
Our second location was the Ruth Risdon Storer Garden! The garden is so beautiful all year long and beautifully maintained by Davis California University. It offers stunning gardens with flourishing perennials and open grassy fields. Both of these locations are a personal favorite of mine, and the best part is that they are only a five-minute drive from each other! Because of this, it’s so it’s easy to create two very different looks in one session! Donovan and Theresa will be getting married in the summer of 2023 at The Vizcaya in Sacramento, and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding day, too!
