Rainy Day Wedding at The Haven at Tomales

Alex and Lauren had such a beautiful wedding at The Haven at Tomales. This venue is one of my favorites as it has so much natural beauty. They had their ceremony here and it was the perfect backdrop with stunning lush green hills. The reception was held at Fairview Sonoma, a place that adds a touch of sophistication to any wedding. The wedding day was actually rainy and cloudy all day, however that didn’t take away from the excitement of Alex and Lauren’s wedding day!

Alex and Lauren’s Rainy Day Wedding at The Haven at Tomales

It was raining all day and as soon as the outdoor ceremony was about to begin, the weather changed and it stopped raining! The sun came out during the ceremony, perfectly timed! After the outdoor ceremony, I captured bridal party photos and it started raining! We took advantage of this rain and made it fun and turned the bridal party photos into a rain dance party! For Alex and Lauren’s wedding portraits there was such a romantic sunset! The rain and sunshine created such a unique look to their wedding day and I hope they will remember that day being so unique  forever! Lauren’s dress ended up getting muddy but again, that did not stop the excitement! When getting married nothing can truly set back the excitement and specialness of your wedding, even rain, and mud!
