Celebrating Motherhood

Moms deserve to be celebrated all year long, but especially on Mother’s Day! (If I had it my way, Mother’s Day would be once a month! Is anyone else with me?) Being a mother has been my biggest accomplishment and the biggest blessing in my life. While raising babies is the best gift in the world, it can also be exhausting. Us moms work tirelessly to raise our babies to be happy, healthy, and kind. All the while, we maintain our careers, relationships, and homes. We often fall to the bottom of the list of things to take care of, but we do it with love and grace, and we wouldn’t change it for anything. To all of the mamas out there:  You are amazing and deserve to celebrate your accomplishments as a mother and an individual! You’re doing great!

Studio Mini Sessions

This year I wanted to honor mamas and capture special moments with their babies, so I planned mini sessions at the studio to do just that. We rarely get to take photos with our children. Usually, it’s a quick selfie if we can get the little ones to sit still for a minute without wiggling away. Mother’s Day mini sessions are one of my favorite ways to celebrate this special day and the incredible job we have as mothers.

Floral Arrangements

This year I teamed up with the amazing Strelitzia Flower Company to create a gorgeous floral arrangement for the mini sessions. Their designer Sam is the sweetest and most talented! She took my ideas and created the perfect floral background for these sessions. I can’t thank Strelitzia enough for being a part of this project.
