Stepping into a boudoir photography session feels both exciting and a little intimidating at the same time. That’s completely normal. I know how much courage it takes to put yourself first and celebrate your beauty. My role is to guide you from start to finish so you leave with stunning images and a new layer of confidence.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that the same questions come up again and again. Let’s dive into the top five questions I hear and the answers you’ve been looking for!

Do I Have to Wear Lingerie for Boudoir Photography?
Not at all. Boudoir photography is about feeling confident in your skin, not about what you wear. Some clients bring lingerie, while others feel most like themselves in an oversized sweater, a robe, or even their partner’s shirt. I have also photographed women wrapped in a simple sheet. The point is to capture your personality and your story.

I’m Not a Model… Will You Help Me Pose?
Absolutely! Most of my clients have never stepped in front of a professional camera before. So, that’s where I come in. I’ll guide you through every detail, from how to place your hands to when to take a deep breath and relax your shoulders. Think of me as your personal hype woman. I’ll cheer you on, fine-tune poses, and make sure you feel at ease.
Do You Retouch the Photos?
Yes, but in a very natural way. I remove small and temporary things like blemishes, bruises, or razor bumps. However, I don’t alter your body unless you specifically request it. Boudoir photography is about celebrating your real beauty, not creating an unrealistic version of you. My editing style stays soft, romantic, and timeless.

Who Sees My Photos?
Your privacy is always my priority. In other words, the only people who see your gallery are you and me unless you decide to share them with someone else or give me permission to use a few images in my portfolio. I take that trust seriously, and every gallery is private.
What If I’m Nervous or Not Confident Enough?
Almost every client walks in with butterflies. You’re not alone in that. What’s beautiful is that nerves often turn into empowerment by the end of the session. Boudoir photography isn’t about being “confident enough” before booking. It’s about giving yourself the chance to see your beauty from a new perspective and leaving with a renewed sense of self-love.
