Spring Maternity Photos at WPA Rock Garden

One of my favorite things I get to do as a photographer is watch my client’s’ lives evolve. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Ray and Jessica’s engagement, wedding and now spring maternity photos! And, I cannot wait to photograph their newborn session and family sessions in the future. Personally, watching my clients go through milestones through my photography is seriously one of the most special things I get to do as a photographer! Maternity sessions are one of my favorite sessions to photograph! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love photographing weddings but seeing couples start their families and being able to document that for them brings me immense joy.

The Perfect Location for Maternity Photos: WPA Rock Garden

Ray and Jessica’s spring maternity photos took place at WPA Rock Garden in Downtown Sacramento, Ca. This is seriously one of my favorite locations. The lush green gardens bloom and the fragrance is beautiful! Making it the perfect location for a spring session. Moreover, you can definitely see how the backdrop added the perfect look to this spring maternity photos! Personally, spring sessions are some of my favorites. The temperature, the florals and the outfits all come together to create a cohesive and beautiful session.

Ray & Jessica’s Maternity Photos

During the session, I made sure to capture photos of just Jessica and her adorable bump! She was wearing an orange dress that looked absolutely stunning on her! Her dress perfectly complemented Ray’s outfits and together they were picture perfect. We took several poses and shots through the session but some of my favorite photos were when Ray and Jessica pulled out a onesie to take pictures with. It was so cute! The onesie also revealed the name of their baby and due date. Another thing I really wanted to capture was the obvious love between Ray and Jessica by capturing gentle kisses and holding hands. I felt so grateful throughout this session, knowing that I have been able to document this beautiful couple’s love story and now their maternity session! To Ray and Jessica, thank you for continuously choosing me to be a part of it all!
