If you’re reading this, chances are you’re thinking about doing a Bridal Boudoir photoshoot—and let me just say, I love that for you! Bridal boudoir is such a beautiful, empowering way to celebrate this season of your life. Whether you’re gifting an album to your partner or doing it just for yourself, it’s an experience that’s all about embracing your beauty, femininity, and confidence. Let’s walk through how to prep, what to expect, and when to schedule your shoot so you can show up feeling like that girl.

How to Prepare for Your Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot
Wardrobe
Think romantic and soft—lacey lingerie, your wedding veil, an oversized button-up, or even a cozy sweater. To start, pick 2–4 looks that reflect your personality. Don’t forget heels or barefoot can both be gorgeous depending on the vibe!
Mindset
Come with an open heart and zero pressure. Most importantly, you don’t need to “know how to pose” or look a certain way. I’ll guide you the whole time, so you can relax and actually enjoy the moment.
Skincare
Start hydrating and moisturizing your skin a few days before. A gentle exfoliation the night before can help your skin glow. Avoid trying any new products that might irritate your skin.
Hydration
Additionally, water is your best friend! Staying hydrated will help your skin look plump and fresh. Bonus points for getting a good night’s sleep, too.
The Night Before
Lay out your outfits, steam anything wrinkly, and take it easy. Maybe do a face mask, listen to your favorite playlist, and go to bed feeling excited instead of nervous!

What to Expect for Your Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot
Firstly, you’ll arrive at the studio around 10am for hair and makeup—we’ll play music, chat, laugh, and make you feel like a total goddess. Afterwards, around 12pm we’ll start shooting, and we’ll photograph between 2–4 different looks depending on what you bring.
As a result, the entire shoot feels like a soft, romantic experience that lasts about 2 hours. I’ll be with you every step of the way, posing you, hyping you up, and making sure you feel confident and sexy.

The Best Time to Schedule Your Boudoir Session Before Your Wedding
If you’re thinking of gifting an album on your wedding day, I recommend booking your session at least 3 months before the big day. That way, we’ll have plenty of time for your shoot, editing, and designing your final gift—without rushing or stressing about deadlines.
Boudoir is something that should feel luxurious, personal, and unhurried. Giving yourself time allows you to really soak in the experience and enjoy it.
