As new parent’s, its natural to want to capture every stage of your pregnancy. From gender reveal photos, maternity photos, to newborn photography! These times are ever fleeting, so capturing every moment with professional photography is incredibly important. That’s exactly what Amanda and David did during Amanda’s pregnancy journey by having a gender reveal session and a newborn photography studio session!

Amanda & David’s Sweet Gender Reveal Photoshoot

Amanda and David decided on the cutest way to find out their sweet babes gender – they brought an umbrella and blue and pink confetti! They allowed me to do the honors to take the first peak and fill the umbrella. Such a honor! My eyes filled with happy tears and I couldn’t wait to photograph the good news! IT’S A GIRL! As a girl mom myself, I was so happy for them!

Baby Tala’s Newborn Photography Studio Session

Sweet baby Tala arrived early and she couldn’t wait to meet her amazing parents, Amanda and David. Because of this, we had to do away with the maternity session, but I had the pleasure of photographing her newborn photography session at my studio, Create and Bloom Studio. The studio is the perfect location for a newborn session. Its quiet, clean and has everything you need for a sweet session. Studio sessions are perfect natural and life style poses with light colors. In addition, I enjoy studio sessions for newborns because the environment is controlled. You don’t need to worry about the weather or other’s around during your session, and you can share sweet moments like Amanda and Tala did during her feeding times.

Capturing a mother feeding her baby is such a beautiful thing, and there’s nothing quite like it! I know that Amanda will look back and these photos and will be brought back in time. That’s exactly why you should have a newborn photography studio session – for the sweet memories! Unfortunately, a lot of new parent’s don’t get professional newborn photos. 2 – As much as we may not feel our best ( I mean birth ya know?!), you ARE beautiful and your body just gave you the best gift in the world. Be present and be in the moment with your sweet baby. From one mama to another, I promise you will want these photos of the two of you together!
