Why Plan a Styled Shoot?

Styled shoots are a great way to create vendor relationships while having more creative freedom to design something truly amazing. To plan this styled photoshoot, I reached out to a model and locked in local vendors to join in the fun. Styled shoots are a great opportunity for vendors to network and showcase their creativity (plus they get some amazing images to use)! The team worked together to achieve the specific look we had imagined and I got to document it all! We had an amazing time together and loved how the images turned out.

Sacramento Wedding Vendors

For this particular styled shoot, I got to work with an amazing team of vendors! The team created a backdrop for our shoot, along with some amazing items to photograph. Flourish Designs creates floral arrangements for special events in the Sacramento area. Flourish not only designs bouquets, backdrops, and table arrangements but also has a variety of decor available. They created some amazing floral arrangements for our shoot! Baker & A Black Cat, a custom cakery based in Placerville, provided a gorgeous wedding cake. We even had a charcuterie board from The Foodie Board, based in Roseville. Ernesto Robledo, makeup artist and owner of GraffitiMA, was in charge of beauty. The dress was provided by Second Summer Bride Sacramento, a premium wedding gown retailer that focuses on sustainability and works with designers that creates jobs for at-risk women. Tajah Bona’e modeled the incredible wedding dress for us and looked absolutely stunning! The shoot took place at Create and Bloom Studios in Midtown Sacramento, a clean and quiet studio space with multiple rooms, lots of natural light, and a convenient canvas for you to create.

A styled shoot is an opportunity to create beautiful images without the rush of an actual wedding day. It also gives wedding vendors a chance to hone their skills and receive practice and training to better serve clients in the future.
